Worked example
1,100 sq ft with 5% allowance is 1,155 sq ft. At 48 sq ft per package, ceiling(24.06) gives 25 packages.

- Package coverage comes from the actual label.
- Waste is user-selected and visible.
Caveats
- The tool does not choose R-value, material, thickness, vapor control, or fire properties.
- Framing, compression, gaps, moisture, and installation affect real performance.
